NRA Spokesperson Blames Philando Castille for His Own Death

RadioOnFire.com - The NRA has feverishly defended gun owners except in the case of 32-year-old Philando Castille who was killed by a Minnesota police officer in last July. Castille was a registered gun owner and yet the National Rifle Association has stayed rather mute in his case aside from NRA spokesperson, Dana Loesch. Loesch took to Twitter to lay out her concerns about the case, specifically the idea that Castille was wrongfully carrying his firearm at the time since he was in the possession of marijuana. Law has it that carrying a controlled substance while in possession of a concealed weapon is a violation. She went on to say that Castille was partially responsible for his death due to the fact that he had not "perfectly" followed the NRA's guidelines for interaction with law enforcement.
Nevertheless, Loesch's comments further reinforce the idea that the NRA is a more of a conservative organization than it is an advocacy organization for the 2nd Amendment.

Check out Loesch's tweets above.
